My college roommate, Lindsey is having a baby girl in December and I recently threw her a baby shower. Before I decided on a theme for the shower, I looked at her Pinterest account to see if she had pinned any nursery ideas, so that I could use the same colors/theme. I found this beautiful nursery that she had pinned and decided to go with a pink and grey, shabby chic theme.
I used doilies throughout the decor because they are so cute and perfectly shabby chic. I placed them on each charger, and used them to make several banners in each room.
Jeffrey and his cousin Jake LOVE tractors. So when their second birthday was approaching (they were born on the SAME day in the SAME year!) we thought this was a perfect theme for their party. All the kids got to wear a hard hat with “J & J Construction” sticker on it and they took home a little toy tractor as a party favor. Cones, Road Work Signs, Caution Tape and lots of tractors made the party feel like a real construction zone! A bounce house and a “Deep Trench” sandbox completed the fun at this Construction Party!
We celebrated our website launch in September by sending a party in a box to our favorite bloggers and shop owners. What party is complete without a little confetti? We were so excited to find such an adorable and easy tutorial for these confetti poppers. They seriously are so fun to pop, you can’t help but smile! The tutorial we used is below, as well as the printable, in case you would like to use ours. Enjoy!
We found the tutorial for these here.

First off, let me just mention that this post is very long overdue! Seven months to be exact. 😉 March was an exciting month for us Bip & Bop girls! We had the honor of being featured in the Women in Business section of Cupcake Mag’s Spring 2015 Issue. It was such a fun issue to be a part of. To celebrate, Erin and Gretchen pulled off the ultimate surprise party with the cutest details. I’m still smiling about it, and I really do feel so lucky to have them as business partners and friends! Now onto the good stuff!
What better way to add a bit of sparkle and glam to a bridal shower than with a Blush and Gold theme? Pale pink flowers in glittered vases and gold chargers were on each table with lanterns hanging in the trees above. Hand painted rustic wooden signs, a wine barrel bar, and vintage wedding dresses completed the decor for this fabulously fun bridal shower in honor of our dear friend from college, Christina. Best of all, the favors were a gold Bip & Bop tiny initial necklace, stamped with a heart!
Thank you for stopping by!
Hello, and Welcome to our new blog! Gretchen, Erin and I are so excited that you are here. Blogging is a new adventure for us and we are looking forward to lots of fun posts in the future. We can’t wait to share more about what inspires us and what we love to do while we aren’t busy filling orders (hint: it usually involves Holidays, Party Planning or Fun Activities for our little ones). For now, I thought a little behind the scenes tour of my office would be fun!
You may not know this about Bip & Bop, but each of us work from an office in our own homes. All of us are work at home moms, and we work only during hours when our little ones are sleeping or in school, so it’s most convenient to be able to work from home. Here are some photos of where I spend my days doing what I love most, creating Bip & Bop pieces, and doing all of the behind the scenes management of Bip & Bop.
